Switch between apps quickly

You can quickly switch between different apps on Apple TV without having to first return to the Home screen. It works very much like the multitasking feature on iPhone or iPad.

See recent apps. Press the Home button twice quickly. Small windows representing each of the open apps appear in a row on the screen.

Select a different app. Swipe left or right to navigate to a different app. Press the Touch surface to open the app that’s in the center of the screen.

Force the highlighted app to quit. Swipe up to force the highlighted app to quit.

To leave the app switcher without changing apps, press the button.
